Even though it lays flat, it works well and it's smaller, so it saves desk space I also don't want a small keyboard since I have fairly large hands several of Apple's keyboards are annoyingly small and I feel cramped when the keys are too close together. Yes, it has a numeric keyboard on the right, in addition keyboadr the usual numbers across the top below the function keys exactly like the authentic iMac keyboard.

The only minus on this Macally keyboard is the fact that it has no usb port on it anywhere. Regardless, each key has a soft touch and a little deeper key-stroke travel compared to the original iMac keyboard.

If I were a lefty there would be no mouse problem. Order in the next 0: See details for additional description. Long story short it's great. It's my fault, since I usbb read the description carefully enough. Unfortunately, I pulled keyboarc keys off to clean and fried the old one. I am satisfied with this alternative for my IMac. I love the clicking when I type. Haven't a need yet for the mouse so can't comment on that.

The keys are matte, very slightly textured white plastic-a bit cheapo looking, but it seems to be made decently.
